Who is responsible for your data

H7K3R Systems, trading as h7k studio, is the data controller. For anything about your data, email info@h7kstudio.com.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry: your name, email address, and anything else you choose to add, such as a phone number, your business name or website, budget, timeline and project details.

When you simply visit the site: nothing. The site uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, discuss your project and send you a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

We do not send newsletters or marketing, and we never sell or share your details for anyone else's marketing.

Who else sees it

Enquiries are stored with Base44, which runs our enquiry database, and replies go through our email provider. The website itself is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs. They act only on our instructions. These providers may store data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK law requires, such as approved contract clauses.

How long we keep it

If no project follows, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for six years after the work ends, because UK tax law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email info@h7kstudio.com and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
